BOARD MEMBER

Lisa Schultz is the HR & Compliance Advisor for Walton Insurance Agency. She began her career as an HR Generalist with Eaton (now Danfoss) in Jackson, where she first became involved with SCHRMA more than 20 years ago. After several years in HR, she stepped away from the workforce to focus on raising her two children in Howell, a chapter she still considers one of her most meaningful roles.

Lisa later returned to manufacturing as an HR Manager, spending many years supporting teams, guiding leaders, and strengthening workplace culture. When she began exploring new opportunities, she reconnected with Walton—the agency she had worked closely with in her previous HR leadership role—which ultimately opened the door to her current position.

Now back in Jackson, Lisa has rejoined SCHRMA and looks forward to deepening connections with HR professionals in the area. She holds her SHRM-CP and draws on both her certification and broad HR background to support Walton’s clients with compliance matters, employee relations, and practical, people-centered solutions.
